A close aide to Nigeria's President has been isolated after he reportedly tested positive for coronavirus.
Buhari's aide isolated after contracting coronavirus
According to Sahara Reporters, Sarki Abba, President Muhammadu Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs has tested positive for COVID-19.
Abba, who is the President’s closest aide tested positive for COVID-19 two weeks ago and had not been seen on the Presidential Villa since then.
The online outlet reports that persons who came in contact with Abba had also been asked to self-isolate, adding that his current status is unknown.
One of the duties of Abba at the Presidency was to pick visitors when they arrive at the Presidential Villa to see President Buhari.
Back in April 2020, the President lost his closest ally and Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari to COVID-19.
