Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, Yul Edochie has declared that he doesn't need political experience to become President.
Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has said he's serious in his bid to become Nigeria's President in 2023, but he need no political experience to do that.
The actor said this while responding to people who said he does not have the political experience to contest in the 2023 elections.
The movie producer said political experience should not be the yardstick to electing Nigeria President, stating that those who had experienced it failed though they are well-experienced.
Yul, who hailed from Anambra, asserts this in his series of tweet on Sunday on his verified Twitter handle.
“They say I have no political experience; the ones with political experience see where they have kept us from 1960 till now.
“We don’t need political experience anymore.
“We need one of us. A compassionate, visionary youth with integrity who hasn’t been corrupted by the system”, Yul tweeted.
The actor’s father, Nollywood icon Pete Edochieh, had, on February 12, publicly endorsed Yul to run for the 2023 Nigerian presidential election.
