At least 15 persons have been killed by suspected herdsmen in Ebonyi state leaving many in a state of fear.

Suspected Fulani herdsmen have invaded four villages in Ebonyi state, killing at least 15 persons.
The affected villages are Umuhuali, Nkalaha, Obeagu, Nkalagu, and Amazu in Ishielu Local Government Area of the southeast state.
Eyewitnesses told Channels Television that the gunmen were shooting sporadically, killing at least 15 people in different areas of the communities. They equally set ablaze motorcycles belonging to residents of the affected communities.
Governor David Umahi who visited the affected communities, condemned the attack and also assurred the villagers that government will do all within its powers to bring the perpetrators to justice.
