Newly Married Woman Reveals The Difference In How People Treat Her Now That She's Married

A Nigerian woman who is a Twitter influencer has gone online to point out the difference in the way people treat her since she got married.

The woman, popularly known on Twitter as Sansa, got married last year after a public fallout and drama with her ex-boyfriend.

She explained that since she got married, people have been treating her with more respect because she now "belongs" to a man.

She said in 2021, this shouldn't be so, and everyone deserves respect irrespective of their marital status.

Her tweet has led to a debate as men are saying this isn't limited to women alone.
