Gunmen Abduct Ekiti LG Supervisor

An Ekiti local government supervisor has been abducted by unknown gunmen

The state police spokesperson, Sunday Abutu told Channels Television that the Supervisor of Ekiti West Local Government was kidnapped on Thursday evening while driving towards a town within the local government (Erijiyan Ekiti).

His car was reportedly left beside the road as he was whisked away by the abductors.

Abutu assured that the state police command will ensure the rescue of the LG supervisor and sustain efforts to rid the state of kidnappers and other criminals.
