El-Rufai Ignores Protesting Workers, Attends Conference In Kaduna (Photos)

 

As workers in Kaduna state continue to protest over sack of thousands in the state, Governor Nasir El-Rufai has ignored them.

 

Recall that the Nigerian Labour Congress had declared 5-day strike on the state over the sack.

 

El-Rufai instead of addressing the workers on Wednesday was spotted attending a conference at the Murtala Square for the 23rd Annual Tax Conference of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) which is being hosted by the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS).

 

The government shared photos of El-Rufai at the conference writing: "Malam Nasir El-Rufai has arrived in Murtala Square for the 23rd Annual Tax Conference of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) which is being hosted by the Kaduna State  Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS)"
