The suspect was accused of allegedly luring a 13-year-old boy of the same address to sodomize him.

A 30-year-old man identified as Murtala Adamu has been arrested by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, for allegedly sodomising a 13-year-old boy in Ringim Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the command Public Relations Officer, CSC Adamu Shehu.

He said that the incident happened on Thursday at Tsigi Quarters in Ringim town.

Adamu explained that the suspect was accused of allegedly luring the minor of the same address to sodomize him.

He said a medical examination was conducted at Sexual Assault and Referral Center, General Hospital, Dutse, revealed a rupture at the anal sphincter caused by repeated penetration in the victim’s anus.

Adamu said antibiotics and other drugs were administered to the victim to improve his health condition as a result of injuries he sustained.

The NSCDC spokesman said the suspect will be charged to court after thorough investigation.
