I cover myself with the Blood of Jesus. Because only the Blood of JESUS can #truly protect us against the nyama-nyama and rada-rada orishirishi things in this world.

Not to talk of the "odoriferous putrid stench", reeking from our Motherland - Nigeria, where our President travels thousands of miles with tax-payer's money to commission Gutter projects and Zebra-crossing painted roads.

Yet, the general public is #more interested in focusing on the ReTIRED General's #ShuPeru_peruperu_Trouser, instead of us all  querying the value of millions (if not billions)  plunged into the logistics of flying him and his entourage over to Owerri amidst water-tight/ sophisticated security provided for the frivolous and totally needless "Commissioning Ceremony".

The whole charade of yesterday got me thinking awhile,  what is really wrong with Naij🇳🇬 ?

Must there be elaborate commissioning ceremonies for all pedestrian and white elephant projects?

How many times do we see elaborate and flambouyant  " #SerreMONEY" in other developing countries like ours?
Yes, serrrrrrree Money! That's what Eeeeris! (In  fake Naija- British accent)

In our country 🇳🇬, small projects with original costs valued at "Ten Thousand Naira" are  seen "commissioned" on #Live Television broadscasts at whooping sums running into millions and Billions of Naira, in the name of " #Logistics ".

Logistics gba kwaa oku !!!!

Till now, no Media or Civil Society Organization (CSO) in Imo State can actually pinpoint the financial implication/damage of that Yesterday's Political Jamboree/ APC South-East reunion Owambe in the name of Presidential Project commissioning.

What the State's Treasury bled for the occasion should be the major crux of Accountability conscious electorates and CSOs.

Yet, we all are still fixated on the #Presidential_Jagbajantis_Trouser.

Such events, which is not peculiar to Imo State but a National-spread Tragedy is a misnomer.

It is akin to a scenario where A Father  buys  a new Bed valued at N1,000  for his children , before he mounts the bed in the room for his kids to sleep on it, he sends out the Village Town crier to go round the village and invite the entire villagers to the Bed unveiling Ceremony.
Ridiculous isn't it?

That's how the whole Jamboree looks to me and any sensible human being who knows the difference between Normality & Abnormality.

What a waste of scarce resources !!!!

Ozoemena biko Chukwu Nna!!!!

Ndi Imo think!!!

Nigeria, think!!!

Issssssorite!!!!

The President has promised to fight insecurity in Imo State and South East by extension, whereas his home State - Katsina  cum Northern zone is under siege by "Holy Bandits" &  "Friendly Terrorists".

What do I even know?????

I just dey laugh !!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂.
Kwakwakwakwi ka cha chaa!!!!
(I laugh in Swahili).

... ofcourse the people at the event cheered him on 🤣🤣.

Our people forget easily or deliberately feign amnesia.
...but  let's remind them of these Words on Marble  popularized by Legendary Eddie Iroh;

"You Do Not Ask a Toad to Give You a Seat, When You Can See It Is Squatting".

My people,  I don wear my face mask comot.

Na African Proverb I drop so.

Your are responsible for your understanding and interpretation.

Dazzol!!!

🤷‍♂️.

Onye omere, amarala!!!

Cheers to a beautiful Weekend my People!!!!

#Drops_Mic 🎤
....sorry Pen🖊.
...sorry my Keypad .
