A woman has been saved from being raped by a stroke of luck after a rapist attempted to rape by dragging her into an isolated underground car park.
A woman survived a traumatizing period after she escaped from the clutches of a rapist who tried to drag her into an underground car park to rape her in west London.
Police said the 27-year-old victim was targeted as she walked home from a night out in the early hours of Saturday morning. Oblivious of the danger that lurked, she trekked home without knowing that someone was trailing her.
The s*x pervert who later attacked her started following her from outside the civic centre in Uxbridge High Street, down Vine Street and into Cricket Field Road at about 4.15am.
Detectives said when the woman realized that she was being followed, she quickened her pace but was chased by the man who dragged her under the bridge of a basement car park and took her phone.
He tried to rape her but was stopped when he was disturbed by a passer-by. Police later arrested a 22-year-old man and charged him with attempted rape and robbery.
