A 27-year-old man accused of sodomizing three boys has been remanded by a Magistrate Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
We had reported that the suspect identified as Joshua Efe aka Ekpeye was allegedly caught while s3xually molesting the minors aged 9,11 and 12 years at Diobu Mile 3 area of Port Harcourt.
Efe was arraigned before Chief Magistrate Rita Oguguo on Monday, November 1.
Oguguo ordered that Efe be remanded in the Port Harcourt Correctional Centre and adjourned the case to November 18 for hearing.
"Chief Magistrate Court 15 presided over by Chief Magistrate Rita Oguguo on Monday remanded Joshua Efe aka Ekpeye who allegedly assaulted four boys aged 9,11.12 and 16 in Port Harcourt Correctional Centre and adjourned to November 18 for hearing," human rights group said in a statement on Tuesday.
