Young Man Given 70 Strokes of Cane For Stealing Keke Tyres in Bayelsa (Photos)

The man identified as Pere Joseph was given 70 strokes of cane as punishment for engaging in the nefarious activity.

A young man has been punished for stealing three tricycle tyres in Agudama-Epie area of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. 
 
The man identified as Pere Joseph was given 70 strokes of cane as punishment for engaging in the nefarious activity.
 
According to the Central Youth President of the community, Comrade Izibeyame Prudent, the suspect was caught in the early hours of Wednesday, December 29.
 
The suspect confessed to have sold the stolen tyres for N3k each. He was handed over to the police after receiving the punishment.

HE HAS BEEN A WANTED PERSON TILL YESTERDAY NIGHT AT ABOUT 8p.m WHEN HE WAS ARRESTED BY THE YOUTHS OF BIOGBOLO COMMUNITY IN AGUDAMA-EPIE TOWN, LEAD BY COMR; BROWN OMOTENISINIZE OGON (ASSIST. YOUTH PRESIDENT OF BIOGBOLO COMMUNITY, IN AGUDAMA-EPIE TOWN)

HE WAS LASHED WITH 70 STROKE OF CANE BEFORE BEING HAND OVER TO NIGERIAN POLICE OF AKENFA POLICE DIVISION!
 
ACCORDING TO PERE JOSEPH DURING WHEN HE WAS BEING INTERROGATED BY THE CENTRAL YOUTH PRESIDENT OF AGUDAMA-EPIE, HE CONFESSED OF ALREADY SOLD THE KEKE TYRES FOR 3K EACH. THE GENERAL PUBLIC IS HEREBY ADVICE TO BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS HOODLUM WHO ALSO ATTEMPTED RAPING A GIRL THAT SAME NIGHT DURING HIS OPERATION.
