Vice President Kashim Shettima has asked the people of Cross River State to re-elect President Bola Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu in 2027.
He promised that the proposed Bakassi Deep Seaport and the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway will be delivered.
He made the call on Monday at the APC presidential campaign rally at the U.J. Esuene Stadium in Calabar, where he spoke on behalf of Tinubu.
He thanked residents for their support over the past three years and said they had stood firm against what he called lies and propaganda.
He asked voters to renew the mandate of Tinubu, Otu and APC candidates for the National Assembly and the Cross River State House of Assembly.
He said the party is asking for another term based on its record and that elected leaders must stay accountable to the people.
On the highway, Shettima said it will link coastal communities, make it easier to move people and goods, boost tourism and bring in investment.
He said it will create thousands of jobs.
Shettima said the Bakassi Deep Seaport has already received federal approval and will become an international maritime gateway that attracts shipping companies and creates jobs.
He also praised the federal student loan scheme, saying it eases the financial burden on parents and helps more young people go to university.
