Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade has spoken about the negative effects of social media.

The award-winning singer took to Twitter to speak on the unattainable standard of beauty that seems prevalent on Instagram.

Yemi Alade noted that Instagram can make you feel like you’re not enough or your body isn’t as good as the ones you see around. She however advised folks not to be bothered by that and wear whatever it is they want to wear.

“Instagram go just make you feel like say your body no reach! My dear, wear the cloth you use your money to buy! Na fat we fat, we no kee anybody,” she tweeted.
