Buhari Reacts to Emergence of Lekan Balogun as 42nd Olubadan of Ibadan

 

President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Senator Lekan Balogun after he was announced as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland.

 

In a congratulatory message signed by Femi Adesina, his media adviser, President Buhari said that Balogun has earned the appointment through his dedication in diligently serving his people.

 

Buhari said he believes that the appointment will bring peace and prosperity to the land and continued honour to the crown.

 

The president extends best wishes of good health, wisdom and longevity to the Kabiyesi.

 

Recall that Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State approved the appointment of Senator Balogun as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland.

 

Makinde approved the appointment on Monday.

 

Recall that the position of Olubadan of Ibadanland became vacant on Sunday, January 2 this year.
