Heartbreaking: How Six Kano Clerics Died In Road Crash While Returning From Outreach

According to a report by Daily Trust, six clerics lost their lives while returning from an Islamic propagation outreach in Sumaila Local Government Area of Kano State, on Wednesday.

The clerics, under the leadership of one Sheikh Alkassim Zakariyya, went on the trip supported by Imam Malik Islamic Foundation.

Although all the identities of the deceased clerics were not known at the time of this report, sources confirmed the tragic incident.

Some of their followers took to Facebook to mourn them.

One Kabiru Saidu Dakata wrote, “Indeed we had a great lost in Dakata. The death of Sheikh Alkassim and Isiya Tela and others involved in the accident is no doubt a great loss. May Almighty Allah forgive them.”

Another Facebook user, Ahmad Gogel, expressed grief over the loss of one Mustapha Musa Sa’ad.

Other clerics who reportedly lost their lives were Malam Ishaq Rummawa, Malam Zakariyya Al’qasim dataka, Malam ishaq  rummawa

When contacted, the Sector Commandant of Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC), Mato Zubairu, told Daily Trust that the command is yet to receive the information, but he would investigate and revert.
