Ooni of Ife in a State of Mourning...See What Happened!

 

Centenarian, Madam Mariani Ayeyemi Ogunwusi, the paternal grandmother of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, who is the wife of Pa Joseph Olaobaju Ogunwusi (Ooni’s grandpa), has passed on.

Madam Mariani Ogunusi passed on at 104 years after witnessing the coronation of her grandson as Ooni of Ife.

The grandmother, fondly called Mama Alaso, passed on 18 years after her husband, Pa Joseph Olaobaju Ogunwusi died.

RIP to mama. This is indeed a celebration of life.
