A Nigerian Twitter user, Austin Olykiss has taken to the microblogging platform to share a video of his ongoing bungalow construction project, which has cost him only N3 million so far.
He also disclosed that he would use the sum of N2million to complete the project.
This is coming after a builder, Abraham MacHills, shared an image of a beautiful house claiming to have been built with five million naira.
Abraham went on to assert that anyone with land could replicate the structure for the same cost.
The post quickly gained attention, prompting skepticism and inquiries from many individuals.
Many individuals expressed disbelief, given the prevailing perception that constructing a house requires significantly larger budgets.
In an attempt to dispel doubts and provide evidence of the possibility, Austin took to Twitter and showcased his own partially constructed building.
He Wrote;
“This is my house, three million naira well spent and supervised by me. Two more million will complete the house. I don’t know why you all are doubting the man. Five million naira can build a two-bedroom bungalow aside from furnishing.”
