The catchphrase made popular by Burna Boy, “No evidence, you go explain tire,” found its way into an exam question at the University of Uyo in Akwa Ibom State.

The University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom has used Nigerian music star, Burna Boy's catch phrase “No evidence, you go explain tire" in a recent examination.

The phrase was used in an exam taken by 400-level students majoring in the Department of History and International Studies.

The question posed to the students was: “How does the current popular saying of Nigeria’s music sensation, Burna Boy, ‘no evidence, you go explain tire,’ reflect the nature of history?” This unexpected blend of pop culture and academia surely caught the attention of many.

The phrase originated during one of Burna Boy’s live sessions with his fans on Instagram.

Burna Boy expressed, “If you no make am for this life, no evidence, you go explain tire.”
