Tinubu, in a statement on Monday issued by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, commiserated with the Anambra governor on the demise of his father, Pa Simeon Nwankwo Soludo, who died at 92.
President Bola Tinubu has sent condolence message to Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo following the death of his father.
Tinubu's message was made public by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale.
Tinubu commiserated with the Anambra governor on the demise of his father, Pa Simeon Nwankwo Soludo, who died at 92.
The President described Pa Soludo as a dignified and charitable family man who lived a fruitful life that is exemplified by the achievements, personal quality, and sterling records of his son.
“I pray the Almighty God grant your beloved father eternal rest. He lives through you still, in your sincerity, good works and deeds,” Tinubu said.
The President encouraged Governor Soludo and the good people of Anambra State to take solace in the excellent legacy of the departed nonagenarian.
Also reacting in a post on X on Tuesday, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar commiserated with Governor Soludo over the death of his father.
The former Vice President expressed his condolences to the Anambra governor and the entire Soludo family. He also prayed to God to grant you the strength to bear the significant loss.
He wrote: “I am deeply saddened by the news of Pa Nwankwo Soludo’s passing. My heartfelt condolences to Governor @CCSoludo and the entire Soludo family. May God grant you the strength to bear this great loss. Rest in Peace, Pa Nwankwo.”
