Update: Truck Driver Arrested For Crushing Fresh Abia Graduate To Death

The truck driver was was alleged to have crushed a graduate of Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, to death has been arrested.

Mary Ogechi Ezekiel, who graduated with a distinction from the Department of Accounting, had gone to school on Tuesday, March 5, for clearance in preparation for NYSC.

However, as she exited the school gate, a tricycle hit her and before she could get up, a fast-moving truck crushed her to death.

After the accident, students of the school staged a protest and blocked the expressway.

The police stepped in and calmed the angry students before detaining the driver.
