The mortal remains of Herbert Wigwe, the former Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings Plc, along with that of his wife, Chizoba, and son, Chizi, have arrived his hometown, Isiokpo, in the Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State for the burial ceremony.
The local government chairman, Samuel Nwanosike, and Ikwerre people received the remains at the Airport Omagwa Roundabout.
Wigwe, his wife, son, and a former Group Chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group, Abimbola Ogunbanjo, lost their lives on February 9, 2024, in a helicopter crash which occurred near a border town between California and Nevada, United States.
