Impossible! Man Seen Crawling through Hot Coals of Fire on His Hands and Knees in Shocking Ritual (Photos)

 

Running barefoot over red hot embers is nothing new, having been practiced for centuries by numerous cultures, so at first glance this video doesn't appear too unusual.

 

One by one a group of men emerge from behind a screen and sprint across the smoldering coals to be greeted by well wishers on the other side.

 

The first three men complete the task with ease - but the fourth participant appears to have something else in mind.

 

Rather than walking over the fire as fast as possible like his predecessors, the man bides his time, taking a few extra seconds before leaping into action.

 

Taking a single step he then appears to dive headfirst into the orange embers, as if it was a swimming pool.

 

 

His legs, hands, arms and stomach make prolonged contact with the searing heat, as sparks and flames surround him.

 

The man manages to roll off the coals and is seen standing, apparently uninjured, as several people rush over to him and start patting him down to extinguish any flames.

 

It's difficult to say whether it was a deliberate stunt or a clumsy mistake, but judging by the noise from bystanders when the man faceplants into the fire it was certainly not expected.
