Alleged Money Laundering: Video Of Bobrisky Arriving Court

A video of embattled crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, arriving at the Federal High Court in Lagos on Friday where he was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for naira mutilation and money laundering has surfaced online.

He was dressed in a long black jalamia outfit, surrounded by security operatives as he entered the premises.

When he arrived, cameramen rushed to take photos of him as he covered his face with a scarf.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) filed six counts against Bobrisky, alleging offenses related to money laundering and the improper handling of the national currency.

Bobrisky is set to enter his plea before Justice Abimbola Awogboro, the vacation judge overseeing the proceedings.

Having spent the night in EFCC detention since Wednesday, Bobrisky was unable to fulfill the conditions of the administrative bail granted to him on Thursday.

In the first four counts, the defendant was accused of naira abuse. While the 5th and 6th counts accused him of offenses connected with his company, Bob Express.
