100-level Student Dies While Exercising At Veritas University Campus Gym In Abuja, Parents Suspect Foul Play

Reportedly, Joshua Èjuojo Daniel-Ejigbo, a first-year computer science student at Veritas University Abuja, tragically passed away while working out at the campus gymnasium.

According to SaharaReporters, it was gathered that the deceased was exercising when he started foaming in the mouth and subsequently slumped around 9 pm on Tuesday.

A source told SaharaReporters that the University called his father to inform him about the incident around 11 pm on Tuesday.

Dr. Sanni Bil-hissan who spoke on behalf of the University confirmed the incident to SaharaReporters on Wednesday.

However, a human rights lawyer, Mr Deji Adeyanju, who is representing the family told SaharaReporters that the parents of the deceased student suspect foul play and gross negligence.

"The parents of the deceased student suspect foul play and gross negligence," he said.
