The former senator spoke against the backdrop of reports that President Bola Tinubu and state governors are considering the possibility of introducing state police.
A former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has said he's not in support of state police.
Speaking on X, Sani said there is a possibility of state police clashing with the federal police in a case between the two tiers of government.
“When you have State Police, that is how they will be exchanging fire with the Federal Police, in case of conflict between the State and the Federal Government,” he said.
