Nigerian X influencer, Ayo who was arrested after Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham lodged a complaint against him over alleged defamation and cyberbullying, has been released.

The arrest had sparked online discussions and campaigns calling for Ayo’s release.

Shortly after activist, VeryDarkMan issued a 24-hour ultimatum to Toyin Abraham, reports emerged on social media confirming Ayo’s release.

Fellow influencer, Abazz shared the news on his page, expressing gratitude to those who supported the efforts leading to Ayo’s release.
