A former political supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari, AbdulMajid Danbilki Kwamanda has been beaten mercilessly.
He was beaten for allegedly insulting the Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani on social media, according to a report by DailyPost.
Kwamanda, who is known for his political comments on national issues was seen in a video circulated on social media, handcuffed and beaten with a cane by some individuals.
The attackers who are yet to be identified, poured insults on the social critic in the Hausa language, saying in Hausa, “Don Ubanka zaka Kara zagin, Governor Uba Sani, saanka ne, sai Kaci Ubanka”.
Danbilki who tried to offer explanations to those beating him was asked to go down on his knees as refused to listen to him, shouting at him to keep quiet.
When asked to comment on the incident, Kwamanda, who is alleged to be friends with Vice President Kashim Shettima, insisted that he would take legal action against those who beat him to a near state of coma.
“I will surely take legal actions against the Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani and those who were asked to nearly kill me by excessive beatings, despite my health conditions”.
In the trending video, Danbilki was overheard telling the people who surrounded him, that he had heart problems and is also a Diabetic but that didn’t deter them from inflicting more injuries on him.
The incident which allegedly happened in Kaduna according to Kwamanda, was carried out in the night and at an area that could not be quickly identified, while the faces of the perpetrators were fully covered.
