The Chief Executive Officer of Airpeace Airlines, Allen Onyema, has applauded the Federal Government for making the aviation sector one that is viable for doing business.
He stated this after meeting with Vice President Kashim Shettima in the presidential Villa, Abuja, on Tuesday.
Speaking with newsmen, Onyema disclosed that the vice president told him that the government is promoting the ease of doing business in the aviation sector.
“I have just had a session with the Vice President and everything he said is that the government is promoting the ease of doing business,” he said.
The Air Peace boss also praised the Aviation Minister, Festus Keyamo, for his role in improving the sector.
He said, “I can testify that the government is promoting the ease of doing business, especially in aviation. You can see the wonderful job Festus Keyamo is doing on that end.
“He is performing wonders there so we are happy.
“We are here to also thank the government because they have been giving us listening ears and we want more of that, to make sure all those numerous charges we face are removed and we have every confidence that the government will do something about it.”
