Chelsea Boss, Jose Mourinho Unhappy As Cech Completes Arsenal Switch

An angry Jose Mourinho who watched helplessly as Arsenal completed the signing of goalkeeper, Petr Cech in an £11m deal to their London rivals, Arsenal, says Chelsea's decision to sell him may come back to hunt them.

Cech’s deal which is thought to be worth £100,000-a-week, making him the highest paid goalkeeper in the history of the club, as well as one of the highest paid in the Premier League, face their London rivals in the Community Shield at Wembley in the traditional season curtain-raiser in August.

Cech who chose to stay in London because his family is settled in the capital, lost his starting place in the Chelsea line-up early last season, as Belgian sensation, Thibaut Courtois returned from loan at Atletico Madrid and proved to be one of the league’s top performers.

The 33-year-old’s arrival at the Emirates could open the exit for both Wojciech Szczesny and David Ospina, who have been linked with away moves.
