Zidane Names Mbappé and Three Others as France Captains

France head coach Zinédine Zidane has named his four captains for the national team.

They are Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé, Adrien Rabiot and Jules Koundé.

Mbappé, who has played 106 times for France, keeps the captain's band.

PSG's Dembélé is the vice-captain with 67 appearances for his country.

Rabiot with 66 caps and Koundé with 56 caps complete the leadership group.

Zidane's picks were guided mainly by how long each player has been with the national team.

Zidane took over after the 2026 World Cup.
