Dignitaries Arrive For APC NEC Meeting

The leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have started arriving at the party's National Secretariat for the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting scheduled for 11 a.m.

Members of the committee started arriving as early as 8:30 am.

All roads leading to the venue of the meeting at Blantyre Street have been cordoned off by combined team of armed security men.

Vehicular and human movement on Blantyre Street are also restricted.

Early arrivals at the meeting include all National Working Committee (NWC) members, Forum of State Chairmen, former Zamfara Governor Sen. Abdulaziz Yari;  Minister of Budget and National Planning, Sen. Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President  Kashim Shetimma, Senate President Goodwill Akpabio, SpeakerTajudeen Abbas are expected to be in attendance.
