A Nigerian lady has alleged that she was blocked by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Instagram after reaching out to the Anti-corruption agency via the photo-sharing app to report a scam.

In a post shared on her page via the popular social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the user, @mojinad, revealed that she was recently scammed of ₦5,000.

Seeking justice, she decided to message the anti-corruption agency through their Instagram direct message.

However, to her surprise, she claimed the EFCC blocked her shortly after she sent her complaint.

She wrote: “I remember when someone scammed me of my hard-earned 5k and I sent a message to EFCC on IG, and they blocked me.”
