Man Brutally Attacked with Machete by Father of 16-year-old Girlfriend (Photos)

A man has recounted the near-death experience of his friend in the merciless hands of the father of his under-aged lover.

Read the heartbreaking story as narrated on social media by the victim's friend:

Now the story goes like this. My friend (Henry) has been dating this girl (Bella). Yeah. They're both cool. Henry is 20yrs. While Bella is 16yrs. So according to my friend they've had s*x like 4 times in different occasions. So on that fateful day last week Monday. The girl's dad sent her to get things for him. So the girl decided to visit the guy before going. It should be noted that we all stay within the same locality. So while the girl was there, somethings leads to something and they had s*x again. Then when the girl returned home late due to the romance engagements and her father was so mad at her.

I was not in there house anyway. But I believe with enough beating and threats the girl then confessed that she visited my friend. The confession caused the man to pick up a machete started going to my friend's house where he met my friend on his way. Unfortunately for my friend, the man came from behind wanted to cut his head. But he noticed on time set his hand to block it.

In the process, he got a very deep cut. (pictures attached). We rushed him to hospital immediately. We thank God for the doctor. The hand was stitched and his stomach too was treated due to further injuries.

Then the next day, he has already gone to the station to report the case the next day. My friend was arrested was taken to the station in Abuja where we live.

The man even brought his lawyer to sue my friend. My friend is alone in this Abuja because he virtually has no family. So I begged my mum and explained things to her. She followed me to the station. While at the station, they asked the girl if my friend r*ped her she said yes. My friend was shocked. My friend told the D.P.O that he didn't rape her and that they're dating. But we are made to understand that if you sleep with an underage girl with her permission it's 14 years in prison. Then rape is life imprisonment. So anyhow it goes my friend is guilty.

So my mum having understood where things are going she called her boss in her office. (N.H.I.S). So they intervened and the case ended at the station there. But they didn't do the man anything for attempting to murder or taking law into his hands.
