Shocking! TV Reporter Defecates in Someone's Front Yard While on Assignment and this Happened to Him (Photo)

 

 

Jonathan Lowe, an Arizona TV reporter with KPHO, was arrested on Monday after defecating in the front yard of a home.

 

According to a police report obtained by KPHO a neighbor in Goodyear, Arizona, reported seeing 33-year-old Jonathan Lowe climb out of a news van at around 3:30 p.m., pick up several papers from the street and squat against the wall of a home to defecate.

 

"They were covering another story and apparently he needed to relieve himself," a Goodyear Police Department spokesperson said. "So he walked up to the side of a home and, in the front yard, defecated." 

 

The witness, who said she recognized Lowe from television, called police, who arrived to question the KPHO reporter.

 

Upon their arrival, Lowe reportedly said, "I know what you want to talk to me about. I've been feeling very sick and I've been stuck in this van all day," Lowe allegedly told authorities. "So, I went over to that person's yard and took care of business." 

 

When asked why he didn't use the bathroom at a nearby market, Lowe told police that he couldn't leave the area. 

 

"[The neighbour] stated that if Jonathan had knocked on their door, she would've let him use their bathroom," the report states. 

 

Lowe was arrested and charged with public urination or defecation, the spokesperson says. He was given a citation and released from custody. 

 

KPHO did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and while the police spokesperson notes that Lowe is an employee at the station, KPHO described the man as a "former" employee in their reporting of the incident. 

 

Lowe is expected to appear in court on June 21.
