Panic As Bandits Strike, K!ll Pastor, Church Member In Katsina, Abduct Woman

Some suspected bandits launched an attack on Bege Baptist Church in the Yaribori community of Kafur Local Government Area, Katsina State, k!lling the pastor and a church member, and abducting a woman.

The victims have been identified as Reverend Emmanuel Na’allah and Mallam Samaila Gidan Taro.

The tragic incident happened on Monday night.

According to a post shared on Tuesday by a security analyst known as Bakatsine on X, the attackers stormed the church during the night, opened fire, and left with a female victim whose identity has not yet been revealed.

“Yesterday night, bandits attacked Bege Baptist Church in Yaribori community, Kafur LGA, Katsina State. They k!lled the church pastor, Rev. Emmanuel Na’allah and a member, Mallam Samaila Gidan Taro and abducted a woman during the attack,” Bakatsine wrote.

Authorities as at press time are yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
