PMAN In Disarray As Tee Mac Refuses To Hand Over CofO Of N5.6bn Land To Pretty Okafor

The infighting in the umbrella body for Nigerian musicians - Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, PMAN, has taken a turn for the worse as a former president of the association, Tee Mac Omatsola Iseli, has refused to recognize the leadership of Pretty Okafor.

Tee Mac also denied handing over documents of PMAN's land said to be worth N5.6 billion in Abuja to Mr. Okafor.

Contrary to reports some few months ago, Tee Mac in a chat with 'Entertainer', presented the certificate of occupancy of the 3.5 hectares land, putting a lie to the statement released by pretty that the documents were handed over to him.

"My attention has been drawn to stories making the rounds that I have given the original copies of the documents of PMAN's land in Abuja to one Pretty Okafor who has been parading himself as PMAN Interim President.

"Let me use this opportunity to enlighten the public that at no time did I hand over to him any document. The documents are with me and here it is", he said waving a laminated document for all to see, "Pretty should stop misinforming the public".

"I want the whole world to know that this is the original certificate of PMAN land and it is with me, Tee Mac and the PMAN lawyer. And nobody will get this document until there is proper election and a committee set up to develop the land. Look at it very well, this is the original and it is with me and not Pretty Okafor.

"I discussed with him that if they have money to develop it, they should come to me and we will form a committee and the elders of PMAN will approve the project and then we will develop the land and not that I, Tee Mac, will give this document to Pretty Okafor. It is sad that he is claiming that the reverse is the case".
