Where’s All The Subsidy Removal Money? - Activist, Deji Adeyanju Asks (Video)

Deji Adeyanju, the Nigerian activist, has made an observation about money realized from the fuel subsidy removal and new tax regime.

He says the revenue that would be generated from the new tax regime which is expected to be implemented from January 1, 2025, will be ‘misappropriated just as the revenue generated from the removal of fuel subsidy is being misappropriated.’

In a post shared on X, Adeyanju said: ''Where’s all the subsidy removal money?

New tax regime funds will also be stolen. Nigeria has an accountability problem not a revenue generation problem.

"There’s no need to tax the citizens more except of course so that politicians can have more to loot.'
