Aminu Alkali, the Deputy Governor of Taraba State is back in the state after eight months prolonged absence.
Information gathered revealed that he was last seen in office eight months ago before his return.

After months away, he has now returned to resume his official duties.
Alkali flew into the state through the Yalo Airport, Daily Trust reports.
He was said to have arrived from Abuja and was taken to his official residence at the Government House, in a convoy of four vehicles.
There is also a short clip of him making the rounds on social media.
An official attached to the Deputy governor’s office, who did not want his name mentioned, told DailyTrust that the Deputy governor entered his office on Tuesday, August 26, and stayed briefly.
“It is today that l was told that the Deputy governor returned to Jalingo unannounced. l did not see him at the time l entered the office but l was told that he entered his office briefly and met with some senior officers,” he said.
