Tinubu’s Second Term Will Be Clueless, Incompetent – Udenta Warns

 

Political strategist and Founding National Secretary of the Alliance for Democracy, Prof. Udenta Udenta has issued a warning to Nigerians.

 

According to him, President Bola Tinubu’s potential second term in office would be “clueless and incompetent.”

 

Udenta stated this on Tuesday while speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show.

 

He also weighed in on speculation that former President Goodluck Jonathan may contest the 2027 election, describing it as a major development in Nigeria’s political space.

 

According to him, Jonathan’s possible candidacy poses a formidable challenge to Tinubu and the ruling party, as it could significantly alter the dynamics of the 2027 general elections.

 

He said: “A spectre haunts the Nigerian political landscape, particularly pronounced within the dominant power bloc. The rumour that former President Goodluck Jonathan may run for a second term has sent ripples through the ranks of power brokers. It would be a formidable challenge for President Tinubu and his team to win against former President Jonathan, primarily because Tinubu’s potential second term is likely to be a clueless and incompetent term in office.”

 

The statement comes amid speculation that the Peoples Democratic Party intends fielding the former president as its presidential candidate.

 

Jonathan is yet to make his intention about the speculation public.
