Where Did We Lose Our Sense Of Family? - Nigerian Man Tackles People Who Take Their Parents To Old Peoples Home

A Nigerian man has condemned the practice of sending elderly parents to old people’s homes for care.

In a post shared on his Facebook page, Irogbum Godspower, said that parents spend most of their lives taking care of their children, however, some of these children end up dumping them in retirement homes where they are far from their family and loved ones.

‘’Is this the reward of parenthood?'' he asked

He wondered at what point did Nigerians lose their values that they now fancy taking their parents to old peoples homes.

His post has sparked off a debate online with many siding with him while others asked him not to judge anyone’s situation.
