I See Elderly Women Doing Menial Jobs - Lady Shares Concerning Observations During Trips To Delta State For Projects

A Nigerian woman, Chinenye Azubuike, has shared her reflections on the lives of women and girls in rural communities across Delta State.

According to Azubuike, whenever she is in Delta state for a project, she often see elderly women engaged in menial jobs and young girls working under harsh weather, a situation she finds concerning and wrong. 

“Anytime I have a project in Delta state, I get scared cos every time I visit that state and enter different villages, I must see their women hustling! Elderly women even doing menial jobs.

"See young ladies working hard under the rain. There’s something that is not right there,” she wrote.
