Businessman Isaac Fayose has commented on the viral video of First Lady Remi Tinubu asking Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke not to sing at the 10th coronation anniversary of the Ooni of Ife on Saturday, December 6.
In a video he recorded, Fayose described Mrs Tinubu's action as ‘’abuse of power''. He wondered if the wife of President Donald Trump of the US would ever do such a thing.
According to him, Mrs Tinubu’s behavior could have been because she is unhappy with Governor Adeleke not defecting to the APC.
‘’Imagine President Trump's wife saying I will turn off the Microphone on a governor in his state…in his state ooo, not another state. In his state….Power!!! Absolute power!!!!
"Imagine, a whole governor cannot make a speech in peace….The wife of a president saying saying I will off mic if you don't stop now. What a country!
"That is not nice. Gov Adeleke, am so sorry…Maybe it's because you used to jump and enter APC because why will she humiliate you like this? Abi is the video AI? This video is true…This is absolute power!!!
"How can you talk to a governor like this in a country where we have separation of power?'' he said
