Viral Video A Freshman And Deputy Vice Chancellor Engaged In Heated Confrontation At Rivers State University

A viral video capturing a heated confrontation between a freshman and the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Rivers State University inside a classroom has been circulating widely on social media.

According to reports, the confrontation which happened in the Engineering Department started after the fresher reportedly arrived late to class. 

The lecturer was angry at the student for having the audacity to walk into his class late without seeking permission. 

‘’Shut up when I am talking. Who gave you the audacity to enter here? Are you mad? Are you mad?''

The student who looked perplexed responded ‘’No I am not''

‘’Then why did you come in here? Did you take permission form me? That is how you people go about indoctrinating children''

The student muffled something and the lecturer shouted ‘’Shut up! when I say shut up, you shut up''

The student appeared upset at the lecturer for confronting him and attempted to walk away. The aggrieved lecturer pulled him back in anger.

‘’Don't hold my shirt! I am respecting you'' the student said 

The lecturer immediately called in the security to take hold of the student. 

It was not stated how the matter was resolved.
