Sharing a heartfelt video on Instagram, Mabel, alongside her daughters, dressed in stunning gold outfits, paid tribute to the woman who shaped her life.

In her post, Mabel revealed that she had planned a special photoshoot with her mother for the latter’s 70th birthday later this year—a milestone they were both eagerly anticipating.

Unfortunately, fate had other plans, and she never got the chance to create that memory.

Reflecting on the loss, Mabel described the quiet, persistent presence of grief, particularly on significant days:

"Honouring my late mum today with this video. We were supposed to do this shoot with her for her 70th birthday this year, but unfortunately, she didn’t make it. We talked about it, we looked forward to it, and we were going to make something beautiful.

"This particular grief doesn’t announce itself loudly; it just sits beside you on the biggest days of your life, quiet and heavy, reminding you of who is missing.

"We brought her, regardless. In every breath, every smile, every step we took in front of the lens, she was there, and she is always here.
