In a heartfelt story, the senior pastor of Gracemade Christian Center and husband of Nollywood actress Seun Osigbesan publicly praised his wife and described how she kept their household together financially during some of their most trying times.
In a video that is currently making the rounds online, the clergyman spoke at a church event celebrating the actress's 40th birthday and commended her for her fortitude, tolerance, and steadfast support when he had little to offer financially. The actress is well-known for her role in The Johnsons.
He claims that she took care of the family's financial needs for years without complaining, in addition to providing emotional support.
"You know, I feel extremely comfortable asking her for anything because I know she will help. She was dependable and never complained, even when I had nothing. For at least seven years, she was burdened with actual bills and never voiced any complaints, he added.
He continued by saying that her unceasing words of support were crucial in keeping him inspired throughout that difficult time. "Baby, I believe in you, you can do it, you are a great man, you are a millionaire," she tells me every time.
"You are a billionaire," she now declares. He continued, "She continued to speak those words into my life, and that kept me going." The priest went on to discuss the depth of their struggles, recalling times when even basic needs were difficult to afford.
"She used black nylon diapers for the kids when we couldn't afford diapers." The family used to eat pap for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, he recalled.
He emphasized that despite the difficulties, she never made fun of him or showed resentment; instead, she was patient, encouraging, and supportive the entire time.
"What kind of man is this?" she never asked. He said, "She never made me feel like I was failing." He called her a remarkable woman and asked the crowd to honor her while hoping for a more satisfying new chapter in her life.
