Some people online are threatening to boycott Davido's three December concerts in Lagos.

This comes after Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke said he will support President Bola Tinubu for a second term.

Adeleke, who is Davido's uncle, was also named the Osun coordinator for Tinubu's 2027 campaign.

That surprised some people, since he belongs to the Accord Party.

He made his pledge on Wednesday at the APC Presidential Campaign Council inauguration in Abuja.

He said Tinubu needs four more years to finish his economic reforms.

Davido announced on Thursday that he will perform for three nights at the National Theatre from December 17 to 19.

The shows are called Oriadè: The Residency and mark his return home and 15 years in music.

He will sing songs from his new album Oriadè and some of his older hits.

Some users said they will not buy tickets.

Others mocked him and said he should ask family members and the APC to fill the venue.

An old post has also come back up.

During the Osun governorship election, Davido called APC supporters in the state enemies of progress.

Some users are now bringing this up and asking why his stand seems different today.

Others say he is being a hypocrite for staying silent while his uncle openly campaigns for Tinubu.

Some critics also say the Adeleke family ignored the sacrifices made during the campaign that brought the governor to office.

They point to the violence and hardship some residents went through.

Still, others say Davido should not be punished for a political choice he did not make.

Davido has not yet responded to the boycott calls.
