CDQ Says He Raps Better Than Olamide, Phyno and MI Combined

Nigerian rapper Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf, known as CDQ, has boasted that he is a better rapper than veterans Olamide, Phyno and MI combined.

The Nowo Soke hitmaker made the claim in a recent episode of a podcast.

He however said his colleague Blaqbonez is better than most Nigerian rappers.

CDQ said fame and commercial success do not decide how good a rapper is, and that what counts is lyrical substance.

He claimed his lyrics have more quality and depth than those of most of his colleagues.

A clip of the interview later went viral online and stirred mixed reactions.

Many people slammed him for disrespecting veteran rappers by placing himself above them.

Despite the backlash, CDQ has not explained or taken back his words.
