Chelsea striker Joao Pedro says midfielder Moises Caicedo is one of the most important players at the club.

Speaking to JioStar, he called Caicedo the best in his position in the world.

He said Caicedo covers a lot of ground and wins the ball back again and again.

That gives the rest of the team room to push forward.

Pedro also said the team feels safer when Caicedo is on the pitch, because he protects the back four.

Caicedo, an Ecuador international, joined Chelsea from Brighton in 2021.
