Nigerian Senator, Shehu Sani Backs American Alleged Serial Rapist, Bill Cosby

 

American actor and comedian, Bill Cosby, was accused of sexually assaulting over 40 women in a revealing New York Magazine cover story, which 35 women were featured and confessed that Mr. Cosby sexually assaulted them at one time or another in a span of five decades.

Nigerian senator, Shehu Sani, has publicly declared his undying love for Mr. Cosby who admitted drugging a woman - in a 2005 deposition related to a civil case brought by Temple University sports staffer, Andrea Constand, who told police that Mr. Cosby had drugged and raped her in Pennsylvania.

Mr. Cosby was forced to resign from the board of trustees of Temple University in December 2014 on the strength of the various accusations against him.

An honorary title and status of Chief Petty Officer given to him by the U.S. Navy in 2011 was revoked last year, just as NBC cancelled a comedy show he was developing. But while the world is condemning Mr. Cosby’s conduct, Senator Sani appeared to side with the actor.

Time Magazine tweeted that the Bill Cosby endowed professorship at the Spelman College was discontinued, Senator Sani expressed displeasure over the development. The senator replied the magazine through his Twitter handle @shehusani saying “We still love #Cosby”.
