Emerging reports have it that some members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria have been attacked by security operatives in Abuja.

Photos reaching the littering the Nigerian social media space this afternoon reveal that the Nigerian police used teargas to disperse peaceful Shiite protesters at the Unity fountain in Abuja.
The protest called "FreeZakzaky" was against the government's continued detention of Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, leader of the Islamic movement of Nigeria (IMN).
Zakzaky has been incarcerated by the Federal Government for over one year with over 300 of his followers reportedly killed in clashes with security operatives.
